Opinion piece: This is WWE's massive second chance with Bray Wyatt and they can't afford to blow it!
In a really interesting week for WWE main roster programming, the most intriguing and exciting thing to come out of the shows this week was the rebirth of the character Bray Wyatt. When i first started watching this segment i found it hilarious. I found it crazy that Bray Wyatt the former evil cult leader, now a children's show presenter. But then i watched on and listened to one of the best talkers in the game back to his best after his tiresome promos at the backend of his "Eater of Worlds" run. I then realised this is amazing, he's now like an evil and creepy kids show presenter who seems to be nice and good on the exterior but has dark and twisted undertones beneath. Wyatt in his Firefly Funhouse is accompanied by horrible and dark looking puppets by the names of Mercy the Buzzard and Pammy the witch which remind me a lot of the show, Don't Hug me, I'm Scared. Right now the whole thing is still shrouded in mystery, which is brilliant there are theories flying around such as Wyatt having a split personality which could be the case and would be exciting to see how that unfolds. Something i do know for sure is a character in my view if done correctly and handled well by all parties, has a lot of legs and potential. This character is also extremely unique and i for one have never seen anything like it in Pro-wrestling. If this done well this WWE's big chance to turn Bray Wyatt into the huge star and replace The Undertaker as the Face of Fear in the WWE like he should have done in the past if WWE had pulled the trigger. I have total faith in a talent such as Wyatt to make this work if he is given the right tools and booking to get this new gimmick over. Now in my view, the ball is in WWE's court; will they screw this up like they have many times in the past, or will they give Wyatt the platform to fulfil the huge potential he has? Only time will tell.
